奢侈

生命委實對我們很好，讓我們很奢侈的享受快樂。有好些東西，花一輩子只可修得一次遇見。今天晚上，那六個小時，三百六十分鐘，我不斷遇見再遇見，讓我很實在的觸摸到，我真的是被愛被寵。

H 說，唱啦啦ＯＫ時，喝酒會醉。可是今晚我們怎樣喝都不醉。

我說，是探戈讓我們說話了，將心中要說的都說出來了，透過身體的每一方吋，毫無餘地。那是念口簧亂唱歌所不能體會的痛快。

我跟她說，很危險啊！我竟然找到一樣東西，比音樂美得那麼多。探戈音樂固然美，可是當舞者以身體演繹探戈音樂時，我看到的是舞者在演奏，那真的很人性，是我在音樂裏從未遇過的激動。

也是同學們生命不可或缺的維生素。

有關台灣地震及東亞地區海底通訊電纜中斷

由於昨晚台灣地震引起東亞地區海底電纜中斷， “Dream a little dream” 將暫時移除非必要的插件，包括 Google site search、Blogpicks (by Google Reader)、del.icio.us tag cloud、wholinked.com、Around The World (I contributed in the Paris travel guide)。至於每篇文章末處的 FeedFlare 則會暫時移去 “add to del.icio.us” 和 “Technorati Cosmos Links”。

本站使用設於美國的網上相簿 Flickr.com 亦暫受影響，但因為使用量廣泛，未能逐一移除。所以大部份的圖片檔暫未能提供，請諒。

處於東亞地區以外的朋友將不能連到 embrace.hk，如要閱讀本站文章，請透過 RSS reader 或內建 RSS reader 的瀏覽器（包括 Firefox 和 Safari 2.0）訂閱 “Dream a little dream” 的 feed。建站初期置於 embrace.hk 的 feed 亦受今次事件影響，部份用戶將不能連上。本站亦會於短期內將 舊feed 重新導向至 新feed，煩請讀者在你使用的 RSS reader 訂閱 新feed，或使用 sidebar 底部 “Meta” 最後的 Feedburner 連結訂閱永久使用的 feed。

剛看過新聞報道，記者說維修海底通訊電纜的兩艘工程船已分別由新加坡及菲律賓出發，但因維修需時，互聯網擠車的情況將最少持續五至七日。現時的通訊需繞道南美及衛星連線，所以當局呼籲市民減少非必要的通訊，包括撥打國際長途電話。

趕忙修改自己的網站，刪去連不上的服務，就是為了讓互聯網稍稍減輕一下 loading，也讓讀者閱讀時減少等候的時間。

大家都忍讓一下，騰出的時間，做做運動減去假日脂肪也是很不錯的選擇！

後按：剛發現成功連上 Yahoo! Messenger 和 ICQ，至於經常頻繁使用的 Google Mail、Yahoo! Mail 和 MSN 仍然未有反應。還是早點睡覺囉！

Akismet helps me to filter spam comments in “Dream a little dream.” Just minute ago, it caught a suspected spam comment. But this time I release it to one of my old post. You can see the comment is shocking, which looks like ordinary spam. Immediately I did a Google, and sadly found it’s true.

James Brown, the King of Soul, died at 73 on the Christmas morning.

Buddy

密友終於從日本北海道旅遊歸來。她離開的這陣子每天都在想她，特別是落樓梯前和冷敷膝蓋的時候……因為半年前，她傷了右膝，比我嚴重得多，差些便要施手術。稍為好一點，她拿著拐杖回公司，在七樓對著樓梯發呆，因她的腳傷令她完全沒有能力走完這一層，返回公司。勉強了兩天，她支持不住了，只能養病在家。她的腳傷愈合得很慢很慢，數個月後，她決定辭職了。

Christmas party

在家休息了整天，傍晚時份才到又一城選購兩個聖誕派對的限額禮物。這次有點難度，因為價錢設定在 $30 及 $50，想買好一點也頗為困難呢！另外我的右膝蓋還是很痛，所以只能速戰速決，幸好我對那些小禮物還是十分滿意，希望抽中的同事和小組組員也會喜歡。

哈～我也給自己買了一件小禮物啊！
牛仔布的洗水實在精采啊～～ ^0^

Mac & PC

“I’m a Mac,”
“and I’m a PC.”

Don’t know if you ever watch the Apple ad series called “Get A Mac.” The two main characters, Mac & PC, good friends in the ads, while competing fiercely in the market. In the ad series, Apple tells you reasons of “getting a Mac”. As a user of PC and Mac, I fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of both operating systems. However, I’m so attracted by the humors it brings (and I always visit the website and watch all the ads when I feel bored in working.) :P

Don’t forget to mention… I kind of like that Mac guy. :D

Earlier in December, Apple brings three new ads, namely “Meant for Work”, “Sales Pitch” and “Gift Exchange”. Apple adds the red color in the ads, bringing us the seasonal touch!

小玩意

如果你有留意， “Dream a little dream” 的 sidebar 一直都有一個小插件 WeatherIcon 顯示香港的天氣，資料還很詳細。

如果你有留意，最近它不見了。數個星期前我安裝最新的 beta version，卻出現 script error。面對那麼多 error code，我才驚覺我內裏的 programmer 細胞都全數歸還大學的教授。十年前寫程式遇見蟲蟲都很興奮，現在沒有絲毫興奮的感覺，反而覺得很煩。最後我還是在 admin page 把插件關掉。
